The Island Litter II - Week 8

February 13 - It's hard to believe that the puppies go home this coming weekend. It's incredible how fast the time has gone and how quickly they've grown (especially Sawyer !)  The puppies now get to spend a lot of time outside, and thanks to the latest storm, were able to find out what it means to be a snow dog !

Saba has been an incredible mom for these puppies, even allowing them to nurse (once) at 8 weeks !  While we are all going to miss these puppies when they go to their new homes, we know we have 4 incredibly excited owners, counting the days at this point, and of course, Nica will be staying right here with us.

Stay tuned for more updates!

Skyland Sweet Dominica ("Nica"), formerly Martinique - Female,  13 lbs 8 oz, birth weight: 14.5 oz

Nica seems to the puppy seeking out people.  You often find her at the front of the box, looking like she wants to be picked up.

Dominica is named after the island of Dominica,

held on his back.

Skyland CJ (Claudia Jean) - formerly Aruba- Female, 13 lb 7 oz, birth weight: 12 oz
